I’ve missed discussions with you regarding the hidden treasures of Stranger Things. I’ve been working on some very difficult and expansive research, which has kept me from very much involvement. I hope you, I really like toast, and the others have been well.
I wanted to simply provide some info for you to look at. Please understand, I only provide this for your aid and by no means a refutation of your theory.
Kali:
Hugh Urban notes that although the word Kālī appears as early as the Atharva Veda, the first use of it as a proper name is in the Kathaka Grhya Sutra(19.7).[10] Kali appears in the Mundaka Upanishad (section 1, chapter 2, verse 4) not explicitly as a goddess, but as the dark blue tongue of the seven flickering tongues of Agni, the Hindu god of fire.[8]
The Childlike Empress:
A Tamal depiction of Kali can be seen atop a lotus on the Wikipedia webpage. The image refused to load.
Kali from Stranger Things has the power of perceptual manipulation. She caused herself and El to appear as children to the lab employee, whose name escapes me at the moment. Simply playing devil’s advocate, what if the entirety of their relationship from childhood to Season two was a rouse? Rather akin to the film, “The Prestige” never stop acting.
Within Bengal alone, “...forms of Kali popularly worshipped in Bengal include Raksha Kali (form of Kali worshipped for protection against epidemics and drought), Bhadra Kali and Guhya Kali. Kali is said to have 8, 12, 21 different forms according to different traditions. The popular forms are Adya kali, Chintamani Kali, Sparshamani Kali, Santati Kali, Siddhi Kali, Dakshina Kali, BhadraKali, Smashana Kali, Adharvana Bhadra Kali, Kamakala Kali, Guhya Kali, Hamsa Kali, Kalasankarshini Kali.[28]
I hope this proves interesting. I hope to post some material soon. It is simply overwhelming. Take care!
