the first thing i thought when i finish stranger things once it came out was brenner because how could’ve hopper magically go to the prison he must’ve went to the upside down. and it’s kinda obvious now because brenner used to work at the lab so they probably need him to re-open gate.

I don’t think it could be Brenner because if we all saw the first season, in chapter 8 we all saw he got demolished by the Demogorgan

It said three months later so they transported him there. He didn’t just magically appear there

we only saw brenner get hopped on not eaten and it probably said three months later because by then they’ve been looking for brenner. it’s kinda dumb for them to have hopper if their gonna kill him anyways bc that russian dude already tried to do so and brenner was a scientist so that’s why they need him for the gate. but how would they teleport hopper there you have no logic to that. i think he’s in the upside down

but that’s a pretty good theory and i like it, it just needs to add up to the story
