A "call sheet" is a detailed schedule for the days filming. It tells what scenes are being shot, where they are being shot, what actors/props and equipment are needed etc. plus trivia like the weather.
On this particular day, they were filming in "Mr. Clarke's classroom" - apparently the scene where the demogorgon crashes in on the kids - plus they were filming the scene where Mike walks out of the school and sees the soldiers + Dr Brenner's agents arriving.
It shows a list of the actors - who has to report and at what time. The actors shown as reporting are Finn, Millie, Caleb, Gatten, Mark Steger (the monster) and several stuntmen and "puppeteers".
Rehearsals started at 11:00 AM and shooting started at noon.
The third page shows the list of support crew. Among many other categories, they had caterers on site, a studio teacher was there, and the monster had a personal assistant present.
This was taken during the filming of season 1 -- it was taken at "Fun Junction", an amusement park located near Fayetteville GA (and not too far from the set for the Byers' house).
hiiiiiiii I’m gizmo, I’ve been here for a while, but I‘m not too active, so most of you probably don’t know me, and I don’t think I ever made a proper entrance
I’m a fanartist, I use he/they, my favourite characters (in order) are Eddie, (yes I’m basic, I’m aware) Steve, Hopper, and Robin
I’m also active on the Gravity Falls, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Dysfunctional Perspective wikis :)
Hello my name is panini i liek vocaloid and project shitfart (sekai)
I posted a photo a couple of days ago showing all the kids posing with their season 1 body doubles -- except for Noah Schnapp.
I have now located a photo of Noah's season 1 body double:
In season 2 he died at 37 meaning he was born in 1947 the first shadow is set in 1959 wouldn’t Bob be like 12 but he looks like he’s either 15-16 I’m just confused
I live in Australia and it will cost a lot to fly to NYC and get ticket for April which will be busy and it will cost to come back so for those who don’t live in the US should it come to Netflix in every country before season 5
I like the actor he did a good job but the character could have been better but he was an amazing villain? yeah it was epic
Each child actor has a "body double" who is used to make sure that they get maximum use out of the limited amount of time that a child actor can spend on set in a day.
So, the body doubles:
(a) are used to set up t he shots, get the lighting right, etc then are replaced with the "real" actors; or
(b) are used for camera shots in which the real actor's face cannot be seen - any shot taking at a distance or from behind showing Mike Wheeler, for example, is likely not Finn Wolfhard but his body double.
So here are the season 1 kids with their body doubles:
Yay 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌😆😃😀
Happy new year, the year of the final season of Stranger Things!
As a reminder, this thread will be replacing our thread for December.
Before you dive into conversation, here are our rules that will ensure this conversation remains appropriate:
No sharing of personal information that could reveal someone’s identity. This includes full names of both yourself or your family/significant other, face reveals, one’s location (such as city), one’s school, phone numbers, credit card numbers, passwords, or other social media, such as Instagram or Snapchat. It is also advised for you not to share your age, though this will not be a requirement on this thread – it is just basic internet safety if you’re under 18.
No face reveals. This could also fall under the "no sharing of personal info" rule, but it's important to emphasize it.
Be polite and respectful of each other. Fights that spiral out of control can and will get this thread locked.
Keep the conversation appropriate and PG. If it wouldn’t be acceptable on the main d-board, it won’t be acceptable here.
No politics or religion. As interesting as these are, disagreements over them can get nasty, and lead to the breaking of rule #3.
Please also note that off-topic conversation is still not allowed anywhere else on the d-board – that is what this thread is for. And as always, our discussion guidelines apply here, just as they do for the rest of the d-board (save for the off-topic rule, of course).

Just finished the book and will (lol "Will") prob do a gotcha react vid in the future with the "Fellowship" reacting because the Demogorgon (I wanna make Alice react to it) and also Eleven (Terry). Plus I want to show them future Brenner and can't get nearly enough of little Kali!
Anyway, thoughts on the book?

FIRST OFF seeing all of the casts goodbye post was literally so sad but they all are ready to move onto future projects and that's great. I've heard a lot about MBB's new projects but I'm interested in the other cast members upcoming work. I'm aware that Finn is getting into directing and producing his own films, and that Gaten did a Broadway musical, but i'm super interested in the rest of the casts work if you know any thing please comment! x)
This is how the mold was made for "Will's corpse". Obviously, getting the mold off Noah was not fun.....
How much do the actors of ST get paid? Well, it turns out that they each get "residuals" from Netflix reflecting profits from the continued showing of Stranger Things.
Here is the weird part: Millie Bobby Brown, Wynona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, and all the other "big" actors were getting the same residuals as the "little" actors!
Tristan Spohn, who played "2" in season 4, has broken the formula down:
First, you take the actor's compensation - but this is capped at $5,000 - so it does not matter how much the actor actually made - for the purposes of this calculation, he or she made no more than $5,000. This is why Millie Bobby Brown and Tristan Spohn are both getting the same residuals.
Second, you use a multiplier - 1.5 for domestic viewers, and 0.9 for foreign viewers. (This means that the residual payment will be the sum of two payments - one for foreign viewership and one for domestic viewership).
Third, you multiply by a percentage that starts at 0.45 then falls every year thereafter.
So, how does this work?
Domestic: $5,000 cap on pay x 1.5 x 0.45 = $3,375.00
Foreign $5,000 cap on pay x 0.9 x .45 = $2,025.00
Total $5,400.00 (Sag Aftra, the union for actors, takes about 25% of this)
Since the 2023 strike, the 'new' rule is that an actor who appears in a show that is watched by at least 20% of the subscribers in the first 90 days of its release gets a substantial bonus. This will help the ST actors who appear in season 5 - it will be single big $$$ payout on top of the residuals.
